After the success of Gudirr Gudirr on film the solo performance returns to the stage as part of Dance X at Arts Centre Melbourne and OzAsia Festival Adelaide.
Starring our Co-Artistic Director Dalisa Pigram with set design and video by Vernon Ah Kee and song by Stephen Pigram, the compelling performance has close to a decade of touring history across national and international stages following its premiere in 2013.
Combining movement, video and song, Gudirr Gudirr calls a warning to a community facing massive industrialisation on traditional lands, loss of language and major gaps between Indigenous and non-Indigenous wellbeing.
